Vermont Business Magazine On Saturday morning, Killington Resort fired up its snow cannons to make snow in preparation for the start of the ski season and the 2022 Women’s World Cup races taking place over Thanksgiving weekend.
Killington Resort will once again host the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Tour in Killington, Vermont on Thanksgiving weekend.
The first years of the event broke attendance records and sent a loud and clear message: alpine ski racing is alive and well in the East! The action returns in 2022 with a stacked field of the best female alpine skiers in the world, including five-time Killington Cup winner Mikaela Shiffrin skiing to defend her title, former University of Vermont skier Paula Moltzan and Burke graduate Mountain and Dartmouth student Nina O’Brien.
We will also see the resumption of athlete bib distribution and fireworks on Friday night, as well as the brand new K-1 Lodge for the enjoyment of fans.
