CHESTERLAND, Ohio (WJW) — Are you planning on hitting the slopes this winter? Vail Resorts has released the opening dates for its 37 ski resorts, including several here in northeast Ohio.
Opening dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
Anyone planning to go this season is encouraged to purchase lift tickets in advance. According to Vail Resorts, lift tickets will be limited daily during the season to “preserve the guest experience at each resort.”
Lift ticket availability will be on resort websites in the coming weeks.
Resorts will no longer require masks, proof of vaccinations or restaurant reservations.
“With safety being its top priority, the Company will continue to monitor the evolving dynamics of the pandemic, but at this time the Company does not plan to put any of these measures in place,” Vail Resorts said in a statement. communicated.
Ahead of the ski season, the company also said it was increasing employee wages, investing in affordable employee housing and upgrading ski lifts.
